Anomali Cinta: Kedaulatan Allah yang Bebas dalam Mencintai Ciptaan-Nya

Setiap pribadi yang beriman memaknai Allah sebagai entitas yang penuh kasih, dan sangat mencintai ciptaan-Nya. Tindakan yang dilakukan-Nya dipahami sebagai perwujudan cinta sejati. Kendati demikian, apakah cinta yang dimiliki oleh Allah merupakan sesuatu yang kategoris atau normatif? Apakah cinta yang dimiliki Allah sama dengan ketidak-ada-an kebencian atau “kekejaman” berdasarkan lensa manusiawi? Oleh karena itu, artikel ini meneliti tentang kebebasan dan kedaulatan Allah yang bermuara pada dialektika tema “kasih ilahi” dengan “kekerasan ilahi. Langkah berikutnya adalah mendalami keterhubungan yang partisipatif antara Allah dan manusia melalui pribadi Kristus untuk menekankan kedaulatan Allah dalam mencintai ciptaan-Nya. Pembedaan cinta manusia dan cinta sejati yang ada pada Allah dilakukan agar keterhubungan keduanya tidak dipahami sebagai sebuah peleburan. Puncak sekaligus tawaran dari artikel ini adalah “cinta yang sejati” adalah jati diri Allah dan bukan pemahaman teologis yang bersifat kategoris, sehingga setiap tindakan-Nya adalah perwujudan cinta-Nya.
