Teologi Kitab Amos sebagai Kontinuitas: Suatu Tinjauan Sejarah Sosial Karya Redaktur Periode Pra hingga Pasca-Pembuangan

Kitab Amos merupakan bagian kitab nabi-nabi kecil dalam kanon Perjanjian Lama yang memiliki beragam penafsiran, khususnya dalam menafsirkan bagian teks yang memiliki sejarah sosial berbeda dengan masa hidup Amos sebagai penulis. Pendekatan sejarah sosial yang berbeda tentu menghasilkan teologi yang beragam pula. Tema-tema beragam mengenai sejarah keselamatan Israel sebagai anugerah dan ketaatan kepada Allah dalam pemahaman eskatologis, tetapi terdapat juga pandangan bahwa masa keselamatan dinyatakan melalui restorasi pada saat nabi berorasi. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini ialah untuk menemukan pengaruh dan kontribusi adanya peran para penulis selanjutnya dari Kitab Amos yang meredaksi tema-tema teologi yang berbeda berdasarkan sejarah interpretasi kitab itu. Metode yang digunakan ialah analisis situasi sosial untuk menganalisis sejarah peredaksian dari orasi kenabian dalam kitab Amos. Para penulis dalam situasi kehidupan mereka berkontribusi dalam membentuk teologi Kitab Amos. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa esensi dari teologi Amos yang berasal dari periode yang berbeda membangun karakter dan teologi dalam kehidupan umat yang benar. Umat semakin meyakini akan penyertaan Allah dalam sejarah situasi kehidupan.
